BIOGRAPHY
WALI BAND is formed on 31 October 1999, previously named Fiera, with personnel Faank (Vocals), Tom (Drums), Endang (Bass), Prince (Guitar II), and, Apoy (Guitar I).

Fiera continued through various changes in understanding and desires of both institutional and personal. In early 2007, Endang and Raden eventually no longer be able to join together because of busy Fiera respectively. There is little debate about the second guitar position, will have to keep looking for another guitar player or with a change of instrument ...? with all the efficiency, the debate end with an option to turn of the instrument, ie no keyboard but guitar 2 synthetizer to strengthen the harmonization of the song. Fiera choice fell on Ovie is none other than keyboardist accompanist for a choir that exist on the campus of UIN Jakarta.

Like a new bride ... Fiera try to understand each other and understand each other. And on the same occasion also the Fiera try to upgrade with power juangnya. Unmitigated even this band's name was finally agreed to be converted into WALI BAND fronted by Faank (Vocal), Apoy (Guitar / songs Writer), Tom (Drums), & Ovie (Keyboard & Synt).

Tit for tat, in mid-2007 along with our manager (Adzee) and Positive Art management, WALI BAND get a chance enter the world of recording with one of Major Label NAGASWARA.

WALI BAND is derived from the word meaning very popular in the community representative. Why called WALI,? because one of them besides the name is easily pronounced by everyone, the other side is a group WALI with all the limitations that exist, all hoping to represent the feelings and the outpouring of the human heart ... but if there is a link the name with the Wali Songo, WALI BAND let's just say BUY ONE GET ONE FREE ...
